\u00dcniversite olmak sadece e\u011fitim \u00f6\u011fretim faaliyetlerini s\u00fcrd\u00fcrmek anlam\u0131na gelmez. \u00dcniversite, bu faaliyetlerin yan\u0131nda sosyal ve akademik faaliyetleri de sa\u011fl\u0131kl\u0131 ve kaliteli y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclmesinden sorumludur. \u00dcniversitemizde g\u00f6rev yapan her \u00f6\u011fretim eleman\u0131n\u0131n \u00fcretti\u011fi en k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131y\u0131 de\u011ferlendirmesi ve payla\u015fmas\u0131 temel ama\u00e7lar\u0131m\u0131zdand\u0131r. Bu ama\u00e7tan hareketle y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclen yay\u0131n faaliyetleri ise akademik anlamda en \u00f6ncelikli \u00e7abam\u0131zd\u0131r. Deneyimlerin gen\u00e7 ku\u015faklara aktar\u0131lmas\u0131 i\u00e7in temel mecra olarak g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcm\u00fcz akademik dergi yay\u0131nc\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, \u0130stanbul Ayd\u0131n \u00dcniversitesi\u2019nin de katk\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n olmas\u0131 amac\u0131yla, b\u00fcnyemizdeki t\u00fcm bilim, teknoloji ve sanat disiplinlerinde akademik dergi yay\u0131nlama karar\u0131 al\u0131nm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n

\u00dcniversitemiz taraf\u0131ndan yay\u0131nlanan International Journal of Media Culture and Literature temelde edebiyat, k\u00fclt\u00fcr ve medya ile ilgili makaleler yay\u0131nlar ve k\u00fcresel alanlar \u00fczerine bilimsel \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n yay\u0131nlanmas\u0131 g\u00f6revini \u00fcstlenmektedir. International Journal of Media Culture and Literature umuyorum ki hem T\u00fcrk hem de uluslararas\u0131 ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar\u0131n bilimsel eserler \u00fcretmesi ve bilimsel alanda \u00fclkemizin yaz\u0131n geli\u015fimine katk\u0131da bulunacakt\u0131r. Bu bilin\u00e7le, \u0130stanbul Ayd\u0131n \u00dcniversitesi olarak, evrensel bilim d\u00fcnyas\u0131na katk\u0131da bulunacak nitelikli yay\u0131nlar\u0131n desteklenmesini bir sorumluluk alan\u0131 olarak g\u00f6r\u00fcyoruz.<\/p>\n

International Journal of Media, Culture and Literature, edebiyat, k\u00fclt\u00fcr ve medya alanlar\u0131nda \u00f6zg\u00fcn \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131, g\u00fcncel yakla\u015f\u0131mlar\u0131 ve bilimsel geli\u015fmeleri oda\u011f\u0131na alarak yaln\u0131zca ulusal de\u011fil, ayn\u0131 zamanda uluslararas\u0131 d\u00fczeyde bir etki yaratmay\u0131 ama\u00e7lamaktad\u0131r. Dergimizin; gen\u00e7 ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lara ilham veren, akademisyenler aras\u0131 i\u015f birli\u011fini te\u015fvik eden ve toplum sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131na katk\u0131 sunan bir platform olaca\u011f\u0131na y\u00fcrekten inan\u0131yorum.<\/p>\n

Bu anlay\u0131\u015fla destekledi\u011fimiz her yay\u0131n, \u00fcniversitemizin \u201cbir ad\u0131m \u00f6nde\u201d olma vizyonunu da yans\u0131tmaktad\u0131r. The International Journal of Media, Culture and Literature is committed to\u00a0the principles of objective scholarship and critical analysis. Submissions\u00a0and solicited articles are evaluated by international peer referees through\u00a0a blind review process.\u00a0As a biannual academic journal, JMCL publishes articles on English\u00a0language and linguistics, on English and American literature and culture\u00a0from the Middle Ages to the present, on the new English literatures, as\u00a0well as on general and comparative literary studies, including aspects\u00a0of cultural and literary theory. JMCL also aims to create a critical,\u00a0discursive space for the promotion and exploration of media, culture and\u00a0their relations with literature.<\/div>\n
